Background in Textiles

My work at the Lacis Museum of Lace & Textiles has given me a decade of experience with vintage fabrics, sewing tools, and cultural textile preservation. I LOVE working in a hands-on environment that requires precision, organization, practical skills, and celebrates the beauty of material culture — but I love building a community centered around that mission even more.

I’m a friendly, reliable, and passionate creative with a love for writing, stitching, and crafting felted wool creatures. My goal is to help others bring their textile dreams to life — elevating our individuality, independence, imagination — and move our society away from a fast fashion, disposable consumption model.

I believe in making a more beautiful future, one handmade piece at a time.

Art (Wool Sculptures)

Are they sculptures, or are they toys? Most, if not all, are safe for infants to play with. I love wool as a medium. It's extremely forgiving and accomodating. It's important to me that every piece is welcoming (soft and warming) to the touch — and have a sense of being huggable, in the hands, if not the arms.

Each one I create and give away heals my inner child.
